Dragon Egg 'Steampunk' by KatherineReedKS Dragon Egg 'Steampunk' by KatherineReedKS
For Sale on Etsy: www.etsy.com/listing/184607340…?

I actually had this egg done forever ago but was having the absolute hardest time getting a decent picture of it. I've buffed it so its shiny so I had couldn't use a ton of light or I'd get a bright reflection but if I didn't use a bright light then you couldn't see any sparkle or color in it lol. I ended up taking this picture outside on a cloudy day (It was also windy as hell making it really difficult) so I got lots of bright non-direct light.

I like the metallic steampunk colors so I used them on an egg and now this is probably one of my personal favorites :) Sometimes it looks a bit dark without being in a bright room.

This is really cool, but I'm wondering why you have it under "designs & interfaces /CD covers" if it's an actual made object.   Just curious.

Also wonder how you did it :onfire:

Its a glitch. Usually for the first 24 hours my thing keeps changing. I just leave it be until its been a day or two then set it correctly... Its really annoying. It messes up my 'more like this' stuff. Its made its way into game development art now...

I take an eggshell and blow out all the insides then layer different colors of clay on the surface then bake it :)

That's really weird.

And that's really cool. I'd love to see the process some time. How do the egg shells not break?

Yeah, I noticed it back when I was posting my first things. If I was smart I would have made a new account but now I'm to invested in this one to move XD It really seems to like the designs and interface category :P

Maybe someday I'll do a tutorial but probably not soon :P

I have to be really gentle with them, there is nothing worst than being almost done and hearing a subtle crack... I can't really hold them with my fingers but instead hold them in my palm to give a greater surface area of pressure. Sanding them once they are done sucks too... I've defiantly poked my finger though a few of them already >.>

You could read all other three books and find out more about Eldunari.
