I would like to start off by saying that I LOVE this litte guy! He is about 8 inches of pure joy. I made him with B-Mix clay with no grog and fired him at cone 6.
He is a chubby little baby dragon and is holding a little glass butterfly that he is enthralled with. I've had friends say he looks like he is about to eat the butterfly but I would rather believe that he is fascinated by it.
The colors on his body are flat while his scales were separately glazed to that they have some shine to them.
Overall I think this little guy took me 20-25 hours to make. It would have been much less time but every single one of those scales were put on individually.
