I promised one of my watchers that I would make this my next upload as soon as I got some good pictures.
This was actually a black glaze that I have used many times and has been very reliable but apparently during the fireing this piece was in some other person's art contaminated the entire kiln and nothing came out the way it should have. I actuall really love the color this came out and would love to find out how to contaminate the kiln in the same way so I could get it again.

There's something strangely comforting about this particular shade and texture of green - I usually dislike colours associated with earth but this one makes me feel... secure, that's the word.
